Bayburt University Turkish Language Teaching Students at Kenan Yavuz Ethnography Museum
Bayburt University Faculty of Education Turkish Language Teaching Department 3rd year students made an educational visit to Kenan Yavuz Ethnography Museum as part of the out-of-school learning environments course. This technical trip, guided by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Musa Kaya, provided teacher candidates with experience for educational activities to be held outside of school.
The students carried out a productive and educational study in the museum that keeps Bayburt's rich cultural heritage alive. Thanks to this trip, teacher candidates had the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and get to know Bayburt's history and cultural values up close. The educational visit made significant contributions to the students' professional development and gave them a broader perspective.
As the Faculty of Education, we will continue to enrich our students' education and increase their cultural awareness with such visits. We would like to thank the Kenan Yavuz Ethnography Museum team for their sincere and productive hosting. We would like to emphasize that our Faculty of Education will continue to support such meaningful events and that our students will have similar experiences in the future.
This visit made prospective teachers understand the importance of organizing events outside of school, while also drawing attention to the cultural richness of Bayburt. As the Faculty of Education, we will continue to give importance to such events that will contribute to both the academic and personal development of our students.
