The ITE (Initial Teacher Education) introduction meeting was organized by the National Support Service of the General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies of the Ministry of National Education hosted by Bayburt University Faculty of Education. The meeting was attended by eTwinning Turkey Coordinator Ertan KOCABAŞ, eTwinning ESEP Officer Zühal KAZANCI, eTwinning Turkey Coordinator Officer Tarık KAYA and eTwinning Bayburt Provincial Coordinator Mevhibe Kübra HANÇER. Our guests were accompanied by Bayburt University ITE Coordinator Dr. Lecturer Tunahan FİLİZ on behalf of the faculty.

The role of digital technologies in the education process of teacher candidates and the effects of eTwinning projects on the teacher training process were discussed at the meeting. Academicians and educators discussed innovative methods regarding the ITE process and the digital transformation of teacher training, and exchanged ideas to develop more effective and sustainable solutions in education.

This productive meeting at Bayburt University Faculty of Education was noted as an important step towards strengthening digitalization and innovative practices in education.
