According to subparagraphs (a) and (ç) of the first paragraph of Article 9 titled "Duties of the Institution" of the Turkish Human Rights and Equality Institution Law No. 6701;To carry out studies for the protection and development of human rights, to prevent discrimination and to eliminate violations" and "To carry out joint activities with universities for the protection of human rights, the elimination of discrimination and the development of the understanding of equality in society" are among the duties of our Institution.
A training program is organized by our institution within the scope of the Human Rights and Equality Law Seminars Certificate Program for students enrolled in the undergraduate program. With this program, it is aimed to increase the level of knowledge of students in the field of human rights and equality and to gain a value awareness of human rights and equality.
Within the scope of the training program, a total of 30 hours of seminars will be held for 5 days for each group. Different groups of students will participate in each week of each training program. It is exclusively at the discretion of your University to determine which weeks students will benefit from the education program and the date ranges accordingly. Details on the content of the training program are attached.
In this context, I would like to request the information and necessity to announce the program within your University and to send the contact information (name, surname, phone, e-mail) of the students who will participate to the egitim@tihek.gov.tr address by e-mail and then by official letter until the end of the working day on June 16, 2025.

· What are the requirements for applying to the training program?
It is sufficient to be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program.
· How can I apply for the training program?
Applications will be received by sending a letter of intent and a short CV to the egitim@tihek.gov.tr address. Alternatively, it is possible for students studying at universities with which a cooperation protocol has been signed with our institution to apply to the university rector's office or faculty dean by submitting a petition declaring that they want to participate in the training. A response will be made by our institution via e-mail.
· Is there an obligation to attend the training program?
It is obligatory to attend the entire 30-hour training program, which will last 5 days.
· Is there a certificate at the end of the training program?
At the end of the program, participants will be given a certificate.
· Is the training program paid?
The training program is free of charge.
· Between which dates will the training program take place?
The training program is planned to last for 7 weeks in 7 different groups and the program will be carried out in the form of seminars for a total of 30 hours for 5 days for each group. Different groups will be determined for each week of the training program, which will be held between June 23 and August 15, 2025.

· Can I choose the date I want to attend the training?
The weeks in which students will benefit from the training program will be determined by our Institution. However, if the application petition submits requests regarding the dates to be studied by the students, these requests will be taken into consideration.
· Where will the training program be held?
It will be held face-to-face at the Human Rights and Equality Institution of Turkey. (Address: Yüksel Cad. No: 23 Kızılay Çankaya/ANKARA)
· Will accommodation and meal fees be covered under the program?
Only the training program will be provided free of charge and other expenses will not be covered by our Institution.
