It has been determined as the European Youth Year of 2022 (#EYY2022) by the Turkish National Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate for EU Affairs, with the proposal of the European Commission. This year is planned to be celebrated with wide participation of young people from all over Europe. The communication campaign within this framework is carried out under the joint coordination of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Presidency for European Union Affairs and the Turkish National Agency. The European Youth Year 2022 has four key priorities. These are; emphasizing the opportunities offered by EU policies, especially green and digital transformation, contributing to the active citizenship of young people through youth work, providing a better understanding of the opportunities for social, economic, personal and professional development of young people, and young people themselves in line with the 2019-2027 EU Youth Strategy.
