A graduation ceremony was organized for the graduates of the 2nd International Winter School of Children's University ’which was implemented by Bayburt University Children's Education Application and Research Center.
At the ceremony held at the Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall, the children, who gave a presentation about their acquisition during the five-day training period, received their participation certificates.
Director of Child Education Application and Research Center Hülya Kodan, who delivered a speech at the ceremony, mentioned that this graduation ceremony was completely possible thanks to the hard work of the children who have completed successfully an entertaining and efficient process. Kodan also emphasized that the children's University established bridges of science between academia and children's world and thanked all those who contributed to the realization of this project.
Speaking at the ceremony, Rector. Prof.Dr. Selçuk Coşkun stated that the Children's University is a big step towards the future and underlined his wish that this event, which brings children closer to science, would give many graduates. He also expressed his gratitude to the children's university administrators, academicians and students who have been a source of pride with their success.
During the five-day training period, children who took science, social sciences, nature, traditional arts, sports, sign language and values education displayed their skills at the ceremony. In this sense songs performed in sign language, folk dance performances, marbling art exhibition and short video films were presented. It was worth to see the happiness of the children and their families who had the opportunity to get to know Bayburt University in the scope of the Winter School project.
At the end of the ceremony, participation certificates were hand in to the students graduated by the protocol representatives.
Bayburt Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan, Rector. Prof.Dr. Selçuk Coşkun, Bayburt Police School Director Ufuk Sami Günel, Deans, institution superiors, academicians and families from the Children's University participants attended the event.
