Steps to Connect to Our University’s Wireless Internet Service from Your Mobile Phone, Tablet, or Laptop

First, you must have an @stu.bayburt.edu.tr email address provided to all students via the Microsoft Office 365 web portal by the Information Technology Department of Bayburt University. You can use this email address to access the Remote Education Platform, which is the Office 365 Microsoft Teams application.

Your email address is automatically created based on the list from the Student Affairs Department.

Your email address will be created with a lowercase "o" followed by your student number. (Example: o1234567@stu.bayburt.edu.tr)

The initial password for your email account is set to the first 6 digits of your Turkish Identification Number (TC). (Example: 123456).

You are required to change your email password every 3 months.

You can check your email address by querying the student panel at the following link: https://sorgula.bayburt.edu.tr.

You can change your email password via the student panel at https://sorgula.bayburt.edu.tr.

After changing your password, please verify the correctness of your email account and password by logging into your email at https://www.office.com.

If you are able to log into your email account in the Office 365 web portal, we can now proceed with the Wi-Fi settings.
