Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu, who won the bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in women's 68 kg and became the world champion, made our country and our university proud with her new success. National wrestler Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu, who continues her master's degree at our university's Graduate Education Institute, was named the best female wrestler of 2024 by the World Wrestling Union (UWW). 

In 2024, our national athlete student, who attracted attention with her outstanding performance, won the first European championship in her career this year and made her name at the top in wrestling.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mutlu Türkmen said the following in his statement about Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu's success:

“As Bayburt University, we see the internationalization of sports as one of our primary goals.
