At the 2nd and 3rd Traditional Dede Korkut Science, Culture, Art and Literature Awards ceremonies held at the July 15th Milli İrade Conference Hall, awards were given in five categories. In the 2nd Traditional Dede Korkut Science, Culture, Art and Literature Awards, Prof. Dr. İhsan Fazlıoğlu was deemed worthy of awards in the Science category, Rasim Özdenöner in the Wise Man category, Prof. Dr. Uğur Derman in the Art category, Cihan Aktaş in the Literature category and Yunus Emre Enstitüsü in the Service to Turkish Islamic Geography category. At the 3rd Traditional Dede Korkut Science, Culture, Art and Literature Awards ceremony, Prof. Dr. Ş. Teoman Durali in the Science category, Prof. Dr. Necmettin Tozlu in the Wise Man category, Fırat Kızıltuğ in the Art category, Prof. Dr. Nurullah Genç in the Literature category and AFAD in the Service to Turkish Islamic Geography category were presented awards. The ceremony was attended by Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan, Garrison Commander Davut Balibaşa, Chief Public Prosecutor Ramazan Murat Tiryaki, Rector Prof. Dr. Selçuk Coşkun, Police Chief Sezayi Er, institution managers, academicians and students attended.
