The conference titled ''Humans and Pre-Humans in Bayburt Geography'' was organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and BAKÜTAM. In his presentation, Res. Asst. Hüseyin İLHAN, one of our history department academicians, talked about the paleogeography of Anatolia; how the Anatolian lands and Bayburt geography rose from the base of the Tethys Ocean and became land. Continuing his speech, İlhan talked about the first human traces in Anatolia, and after talking about the Paleolithic and Neolithic processes, he conveyed evidence of prehistoric human traces in Bayburt geography. After his speech, a certificate of appreciation was presented to İlhan by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Yakup KAHRAMAN. The program ended after the photo shoot.
