Our aim;
The main purpose of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports is; To contribute to the social, cultural and sports development of the people it serves in accordance with the mission and vision of the university, to protect their physical and mental health, to treat or cure the sick, to make use of their extracurricular time, to enable the acquisition of new areas of interest, to enable the healthy development of their talents and personalities. To provide services that will enable students to be educated as individuals who care about their mental and physical health, to ensure that they acquire the habits of regular and disciplined work, rest and entertainment.

The service processes carried out by our Presidency are regularly evaluated in line with accreditation standards and quality management principles, and are based on the principles of transparency, reliability and continuous improvement, taking into account the strategic goals of the university in all processes.

In accordance with the Public Financial Management and Control Law No. 5018, the Department of Health, Culture and Sports has adopted the principle of planned service delivery, policy development, basing it on recorded financial work programs and budgets, and effectively monitoring, evaluating and finalizing the implementation.

In order to carry out the work and duties within its area of ​​responsibility in line with the mission of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, BAYÜ; In accordance with the amended articles 46 and 47 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547, No. 2880; In addition, the decree law on the administrative organization of higher education institutions and higher education institutions (Date of the Decree Law - No: 07/10/1983 – 124 Date of the Authorization Law - No: 17/06/1982 – 2680, Date of Publication in the Official Gazette: 21.11.1983 – 18228) was established in accordance with.
 

Our Work and Duties:
Our Department provides the duties specified in the law and the services required by its area of ​​authority, within the framework of the authority and responsibility given to it by the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and other legislation to which BAYÜ is subject.
 

Nutrition and Health Services:
Nutrition and Automation: Nutrition and Automation Unit; Together with the academic and administrative staff of the university, they are responsible for preparing food lists so that students can have an adequate, balanced and healthy diet, cooking and serving food in a healthy and hygienic way, and ensuring that existing food resources are used economically and in accordance with health rules.

Medico Services: First Aid Health Unit Unit, namely “Medico”; It was established to meet the health needs of the university; Provides first aid in possible emergency situations and, if necessary, transfers the patient to a higher healthcare institution and ensures that the necessary treatment is administered. (The conditions of the health service offered at the university are stated in the Implementation Regulation of the Department of Higher Education Institutions, Medico-Social Health, Culture and Sports Affairs.)

Psychological Counseling and Guidance Services: Psychological Counseling and Guidance; It aims to help students and all staff develop psychologically, socially and economically.

Part-Time Student Employment and Nutrition Assistance Services: By allowing students to work "Part-Time", the Presidency aims to make it easier for these students to step into working life and to help them contribute to their budgets. (Studies within this scope are carried out in accordance with the regulation containing the "Procedures and Principles of Employing Part-Time Students in Higher Education Institutions" according to Article 46 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547.)

Nutrition scholarships are given to low-income and successful students in accordance with Article 46 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547, which is carried out within the Presidency and determined by the University Scholarship and Social Services Commission.

Sports Services: Organizing and announcing activities in order to encourage students and staff to engage in sports, organizing sports tournaments, etc. in cooperation with relevant institutions. It is responsible for organizing sports activities, organizing the materials, nutrition and shelter needs for sports activities, having sports facilities built and finding expert personnel for conscious sports activities.
 

Cultural Services:
Cultural Activity Services: To enable students to spend their free time according to their interests and gain entertainment habits, to enable them to watch and participate in activities related to fine arts, and to provide services that will enable them to develop their talents and personalities in a healthy way by enabling them to gain new areas of interest.

Student Community Services: Our Presidency organizes all kinds of activities in order to enable students to spend their free time according to their interests, to make them useful individuals for society, to enable them to watch and participate in activities related to fine arts, and to raise them as individuals who care about their physical and moral health, and to organize students from different departments together for a purpose. To ensure the establishment of student communities by coming together.
 

Administrative Services Unit:
Movable Registration Control (Property Accountancy): Movable Registration Control; The orderly execution of real estate transactions, the protection of state property, transactions related to fixtures and consumables (movables) coming from different sources are carried out in two different warehouses, and inventory records and embezzlement transactions of movables are carried out. Entry and exit procedures are reported to the Strategy Development Department. (It is carried out within the principles of the Movable Property Regulation published on 28.12.2006, in accordance with Article 44 of the Public Financial Management and Control Law No. 5018.)

Purchasing - Accrual and Budget Transactions: Purchases of goods, services and construction works referred to the Purchasing Branch Directorate by our University Rectorate and Head of Department, as well as rental and advance transactions, are carried out in accordance with the Public Procurement Law No. 4734, the State Procurement Law No. 2886 and the Public Procurement Law No. 5018. It is carried out in accordance with the Financial Management and Control Law and other relevant legislation.

Purchasing goods and services related to nutrition, health, culture and sports activities, purchases of movable and immovable property, maintenance/repair services, carrying out the preparation of accrual documents, and monitoring income by preparing the budget of our Presidency.

Registry and Personnel Personnel Procedures: Ensuring that office work is carried out in a timely and orderly manner, receiving and ensuring the receipt of all kinds of notifications, recording outgoing documents, keeping a file according to the file plan for incoming and outgoing correspondence, writing letters accurately within the scope of circulars and instructions, and is obliged to ensure its distribution to the relevant parties without delay. All personnel working in the unit are informed about starting, leaving, leaving, promotions, etc. Responsible for ensuring that transactions are carried out and followed up.

Tuition Procedures: Student automation responsibility, calculation of contribution fees, Halk Bankası A.Ş. and electronic file transfers, contribution collection and follow-up are carried out by the Department of Health, Culture and Sports.

Internship Procedures: Carrying out the SSI Entry and Exit procedures of the students who will be doing the internship, applying work accident insurance within the employment and dismissal date range specified in the Internship Form, and ensuring the follow-up of the report transactions, and monitoring the monthly insurance premium transactions of the students doing the internship through the SSI E-Declaration application.
 

Internal Control and Quality Management:
To ensure that the establishment, implementation, monitoring and continuity of the Quality/Management System in the Department of Health, Culture and Sports in line with the BAYÜ Quality Directive, Quality Policy and targets are carried out on behalf of the Presidency.
