The final registration of students will start on September 26, 2024, and continue until November 29, 2024. Students must apply to our university in person with their acceptance letters for final registration.
NOTE: In accordance with the “Cooperation Protocol on Residence Permit Applications for International Students” signed between the Directorate General of Migration Management of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey and YÖK, international student candidates who do not have legal residency rights in Turkey will not be registered.
Required documents;
- Original High School Diploma
- Turkish translation of the High School Diploma approved by the official institutions of the Republic of Turkey
- Transcript
- Turkish translation of the transcript approved by the official institutions of the Republic of Turkey
- 2 photographs (Taken within the last 6 months)
- Equivalence Certificate
- Valid passport
- Results of accepted exams as per our regulations (if applicable)
- Turkish Proficiency Certificate issued by BAYÜTÖMER or Yunus Emre Institute (if applicable)

NOTE: If the number of students placed in the departments of the Faculty of Engineering remains below 15 for each department, the students will be transferred to another department based on their preferences.
NOTE REGARDING TOMER:
According to our regulations, for international students enrolling in programs with Turkish as the language of instruction for the 2024-2025 academic year, their study start periods after registration depend on the language proficiency score obtained from one of the following:
- Yunus Emre Institute, or
- Language proficiency exams conducted by TÖMER or language centers of universities affiliated with YÖK, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The language proficiency score should be demonstrated by a QR-coded or wet-signed document.Formun Altı Among these candidates, students with a Turkish proficiency level of B1 for associate degrees and B2 for bachelor's degrees will start their studies in their programs. These students are required to participate in Turkish proficiency exams conducted by Yunus Emre Institute or TÖMER or language centers of universities affiliated with YÖK, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), and achieve at least a C1 level of Turkish proficiency by the time they graduate.

NOTE: Based on the Collaboration Protocol signed between the Ministry of Interior Directorate General of Migration Management and the Council of Higher Education Presidency regarding Residence Permit Applications for International Students, as of 29.11.2023, students must follow the steps below and submit the required documents to our office in order to obtain a residence permit. Students who do not submit their documents will not be able to obtain a residence permit. Click here to access the announcement regarding the residence permit.
NOTE: According to the seventh paragraph of Article 60 of Law No. 5510, starting from May 29, 2013, all foreign students studying in Turkey are required to submit a written request to the social security provincial directorate or social security center within three months from the date of their initial registration at their educational institutions. If they do so, their general health insurance registration will be processed.
Foreign students who do not make a written request to become general health insurance within a three-month period from the date of first registration to the schools where they will study will not be able to register for general health insurance again during their education and will be able to obtain private health insurance.
