Important Contribution to Regional Development from our University: We Received Geographical Indication Registration of Bayburt Tarragon
Our university continues to take important steps to increase the commercial value of local products in order to contribute to the agricultural development of the region under the leadership of our Rector Prof. Dr. Mutlu Türkmen. Following the geographical indication applications for Bayburt Ehram, Bayburt Honey and Aydıntepe Sugar Beans, our university successfully completed the geographical indication registration process for Bayburt Tarragon, one of the most important medicinal and aromatic plants of Bayburt. With the geographical indication registration published in the official bulletin, the number of products registered by our University became 4.
