Bayburt University Faculty of Engineering was established by the decision numbered 5765 of the Council of Ministers published in the Official Gazette dated 31.05.2008 and numbered 26892. The Mechanical Engineering program is carried out within the body of Bayburt University Faculty of Engineering.Mechanical engineering is one of the most deep-rooted and comprehensive engineering disciplines. This department covers a wide range of areas related to the design, analysis, production and maintenance of mechanical systems. Mechanical engineering produces solutions to problems in areas such as energy conversion, heat transfer, static and dynamic analysis, and production techniques by using physics, mathematics and engineering knowledge. This branch of engineering plays a critical role in many sectors such as automotive, aviation, energy, manufacturing and robotics.Mechanical engineering students are trained as engineers who can respond to the requirements of modern technologies and have creative, analytical and systematic thinking skills. Our department always supports its students with its strong staff and works devotedly to train knowledgeable and highly-acquired individuals in the future.
