The century we are in has been marked by technological developments, and people have competed to benefit from the innovations brought by technology. This process, in which technological innovations follow each other, has imposed great duties on engineers. In the new era, there is a need for innovative and research engineers who can follow the innovations in science and technology. In short, the importance of engineering education has increased a little more today. In the education system, how to access information and develop knowledge rather than transferring all knowledge to students has come to the fore.

Students of the Faculty of Engineering will not only gain engineering formation during the 4-year education period, but will also grow up to be researchers, participants, solution makers, and self-confident engineers who aim for lifelong learning, have social and professional ethical values.

I welcome our students who choose our faculty and wish them success in their student lives.
