Establishment
The Faculty of Engineering at Bayburt University was established by the Council of Ministers' decision No. 5765, published in the Official Gazette No. 26892 on May 31, 2008. The Civil Engineering Program operates within the Faculty of Engineering and comprises seven main branches of study: Geotechnics, Hydraulics, Transportation, Mechanics, Structures, Construction Materials, and Construction Management.
Importance of the Civil Engineering Sector
The construction sector plays a crucial role in the development of our country. Its advancement depends on training skilled professionals who can follow the latest scientific and technological developments. Accordingly, the Civil Engineering undergraduate program at the Faculty of Engineering has been redesigned to align with developments in the aforementioned fields, emphasizing practical applications and considering the needs of the industry.

Degree Awarded
Graduates of the Civil Engineering Department receive the title "Civil Engineer" and gain all the associated professional rights, as they complete a four-year degree program.
