Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mutlu Türkmen was unanimously re-elected as the president for a four-year term at the elective general assembly meeting of the Confederation of Bocce International (CBI) held during the World Bocce Championship in Kemer. The meeting was attended by 53 delegates from 37 countries and Prof. Dr. Türkmen was deemed worthy of this important duty for the second time.

Moreno Rosati from Italy and Marcelo Bravo from Argentina won the elections for vice-presidency. Claudio Knecht from Switzerland was elected as treasurer and Tony Biancacci from Australia as secretary general. Gabor Foti from Hungary, Natalia Lele from Latvia, Hasiba Hamel from Algeria, Joe Quartorene from the USA, Jasem Manouchehri from Iran, Denis Persic from Croatia, Gian Luigi Gianccechi from San Marino, Mickael Rouault from France and Muhamed Amine Maidi from Algeria as the African Confederation President.
