Celebrating May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, our students gathered at Aydıntepe Vocational School Youth Festival and played a role in many activities from music to exhibition, barbecue to traditional Turkish sports. 

Our students, academic and administrative staff, who came together to celebrate May 19 in the spirit of the 7th Dede Korkut Science, Culture, Art and Sports Days, which started with the slogan #Live History Again and #Live Your Roots, had fun together in youth and sports themed activities. Within the scope of the event, which was a continuation of the Youth Festival held at Demirözü Vocational School the day before, saplings were planted for the children massacred by Israel in Palestine. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mutlu Türkmen said the following regarding the event attended by Aydıntepe officials "The first step taken on May 19th has reached today with stability on very difficult roads within the framework of the national struggle that has continued until today. From now on, we will always step forward as the heroes of this struggle with a young, dynamic and agile condition. Seeing our students together with this awareness, enthusiasm and determination is the assurance of the future. I would like to thank those who contributed and our participating stakeholders." 

The 7th day of the 7th Dede Korkut Science, Culture, Art and Sports Days will witness interviews with Prof. Dr. Memiş Özdemir, traditional Turkish archery competitions and a student community workshop.
