Definition: Organic Agricultural Management Program; It is a four (4) year education program that provides undergraduate education and degrees to its students. Students take courses on organic farming and support practices and business-related production, marketing, accounting, finance, management and organization, and strategic management. Our program aims to provide students with an innovative, entrepreneurial, and scientific perspective.
Purpose: To train qualified personnel with knowledge and skills to meet the expert needs of the rapidly developing organic agriculture sector globally and in our country. Department of Organic Agricultural Management; It aims to train entrepreneurs-farmers who can work in the field of organic agriculture with scientific methods, provide the society with the opportunity to supply and consume healthy foods, understand the importance of bio-security and bio-diversity, adapt to new approaches in organic agriculture in the world, and have knowledge on marketing, production, and processing.
The Title of Those Who Complete the Program: Those who complete the Organic Agriculture Program are entitled to receive a Bachelor's Diploma. They gain the title of "Organic Agricultural Management" in the diploma. The phrase "Completed the Organic Agricultural Management Program License" will be displayed.
Employment Areas: The need for educated, qualified, and trained personnel in this field is increasing daily with the increase of enterprises that make production by making use of advanced technologies in the organic agriculture sector, which has continuity and standards.
In organic farming enterprises, in organic markets, in private sector establishments that will provide input to organic production (seed, organic fertilizer, organic agricultural struggle), control and certification (organic agriculture and good agricultural practices) organizations, In small and medium-sized agro-based industries and SMEs, they can work in the public sector, ministry of food, agriculture, and livestock, provincial and district directorates of the ministry, research institutes, and municipalities.
In addition, they can work as managers in organic agricultural (plant and animal) production and marketing enterprises that they will establish themselves.
