It is a fundamental right for everyone to receive education with equal opportunities. Educational activities aim to broaden individuals' horizons and enable them to hold on and participate in life actively and effectively. In order to achieve these goals, equal opportunity for disabled individuals, as for all individuals, is a value of great importance. It is never acceptable for an individual to be deprived of his/her right to education due to emotional or physical limitations. We know that limitations in bodies; It does not require us to ignore and waste our other values, skills, or abilities.

Every day, we observe personally or through various means of communication how our disabled individuals adapt to society and achieve great success when appropriate conditions are provided. We should know that we are all disabled candidates at all times. With this in mind, Bayburt University has mobilized all its resources within the framework of universal human rights. We strive with all our strength to build a conscious society by raising awareness among all our stakeholders about the difficulties experienced by our disabled brothers and sisters. We strive to spread the awareness that providing all kinds of convenience to our disabled students and staff is a fundamental human right by eliminating obstacles with a "people-first" approach, from the construction of buildings to transportation vehicles. As a unit, our aim is to provide a quality and equal education process for our disabled students and staff, where obstacles are eliminated at every opportunity, at our university, which aims to be an exemplary institution for our city in many aspects. We are aware that we have difficulties in optimizing the education process and social life at our university, which serves a wide range of areas with its Dede Korkut, Bâbertî, Aydıntepe and Demirözü social complexes; However, as the Disabled Student Unit Coordinator, we strive to create a barrier-free education environment despite all difficulties, and we will strive to justify your belief that this effort will continue increasingly.
