Purpose of the Organization
Students graduating from our program earn the title of Electrical Technician. With this title, the young technicians who graduate are qualified professionals who serve as a bridge between workers and engineers in the industry. They can produce projects related to the electrical technician profession and improve existing projects. They are authorized to implement projects to a certain extent. In the constantly evolving industrial world, they are capable of following technological innovations, staying up-to-date, and are research-oriented, with the necessary capacity and skills. The employment opportunities for Electrical Technicians graduating from this program cover a wide range of fields.
Required Qualifications
This program provides 2 years of education to students coming from electrical programs, high schools, and industrial vocational schools. It offers theoretical and practical training in electrical energy and the general theories of electrical circuits, along with the assembly, maintenance, and repair of electrical machines, the design of electromechanical and automation systems, and electrical installation in lighting and power systems for buildings and industrial facilities.
They work in electrical workshops and facilities of public institutions and organizations, in electrical workshops and laboratories of factories, in companies engaged in electrical contracting, in electrical project offices, in technical departments of construction works at universities, at airports, in seaport operations, on large ships, and in the technical operation units of large hotels.
Faculty
In the Department of Electrical and Energy, there exist two distinct programs: the active Electrical Program and the passive Alternative Energy Sources Technology Program. The department is staffed by:- 1 Professor

Department Facilities
CLASSROOMS: One (1) classroom with a capacity of 80 people, one laboratory classroom with a capacity of 36 people.
LABORATORIES: Electrical Laboratory including computer lab.
SOCIAL AREAS: A student canteen with a capacity of 150 people (shared space with the Faculty of Engineering), a student cafeteria with a capacity of 2000 people per meal (shared university space), and one partial computer room with a capacity of 11 people (Electrical Laboratory usage area).
