University Legal Consultancy has the status of a department head according to Article 26 of the Decree Law No. 124 on the Administrative Organization of Higher Education Institutions and Higher Education Institutions; It is one of the units that make up the administrative organization of the university. It has the function of an advisory unit to ensure that the administration remains within the law, and an enforcement unit to protect the rights and interests of the university legal entity. The Legal Consultancy provides services with its staff consisting of a lawyer and a civil servant. Since it is not possible for the legal consultancy to act on its own and monitor the legality of the administrative procedures and actions of university units, it has no ethical and legal responsibility for possible illegal administrative actions of other units.

Our consultancy continues its activities in the University Rectorate Building. Against the legal entity of the Rectorate, by the personnel, for reasons such as termination of duty, cancellation of positions, degrees, appointments, cancellation of disciplinary penalties; Students requesting the cancellation of grades, deregistration and disciplinary penalties; All kinds of lawsuits filed by other institutions, organizations and individuals are followed by our University's Legal Consultancy Office. In addition, various lawsuits are filed and enforcement proceedings are carried out on behalf of the legal entity of the Rectorate. Legal opinions are given on issues asked from Rectorate units and Faculties on legal matters. The Rectorate, Rectorate units and Faculties are assisted in the execution of our University's transactions and decisions in accordance with the applicable laws, and oral and written opinions are given on this matter. On the other hand, experts requested by the Courts; It is obtained from the faculties through our consultancy and reported to the courts.
