• Bayburt University Graduate Education Institute was established on 09.07.2019 by the Presidential Decree in place of the Institute of Science and Institute of Social Sciences, which closed in 2008 under Article 19 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547.

• The Graduate Education Institute actively provides education and training services in the 2024-2025 academic year with 4 non-thesis master's, 25 thesis master's, and 8 doctoral programs affiliated with 22 departments.

• The Graduate Education Institute serves 200 academic staff and 1267 students with 1 Director, 2 Assistant Directors, 1 Institute Secretary, 1 Dr. Research Assistant, 1 Research Assistant, and 5 Administrative Staff.
