The Department of Philosophy and Religious Sciences has chosen as its research area the different ideas that have emerged in the history of humanity, the changes that these ideas have brought about in the individual and society, and the discussions on how the future will be based on the feelings and thoughts of today's people. This department, which believes that progress, development and the emergence of a civilisation can only be possible with a new way of thinking, that is, a new horizon, examines the intellectual heritage of history; but at the same time, it also includes the intellectual movements in today's societies in its research area. The department is composed of 7 departments in order to meet these needs. These are Islamic Philosophy, History of Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, Logic, History of Religions, Religious Education, Sociology of Religion, Psychology of Religion.
