Another TUBITAK Project from Our University
The study titled "Determination and Optimization of the Chemical Contents of Olive Oil-Based Propolis Extracts Obtained Using Green Extraction Methods", prepared by our faculty members, was entitled to be supported within the scope of TÜBİTAK 3501 Career Development Program.

Its executive is Assoc. Dr. In the project to be realized by Nesrin Ecem Bayram, Aydıntepe Vocational School faculty member Dr. Instructor Naciye Kutlu Kantar and a faculty member of the Vocational School of Health Services, Dr. Instructor Member Sinan Bayram is a researcher.

Stating that the project aims to determine the quality of Bayburt propolis and to contribute to the acquisition of its geographical indication, Project Coordinator Assoc. Dr. Celebration; “With the project, propolis, an important bee product that has been consumed intensively in our country in the last few years, will be extracted with olive oil. Meanwhile, the environmental (green) process conditions applied will be determined by a scientific R&D study. In this way, olive oil-based propolis extracts prepared on a scientific basis will be preferred by consumers in a safer way. However, the fact that the project will be carried out using propolis produced in the Bayburt region will contribute to determining the detailed quality of Bayburt propolis and obtaining its geographical indication in the future.” said.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Thanking all academic and administrative stakeholders, especially Mutlu Türkmen, for their support, lecturer Assoc. Dr. Bayram added that he will continue to work with a greater motivation.
