General Information

Our General Secretariat unit is an administrative organization established in accordance with Article 51 of the Law No. 2547 of the Council of Higher Education and serves within the framework of its duties and authority. I would like to inform you that for the administration of the administration in our unit, ensuring the distribution of the administration budget to our unit in an efficient, economical and efficient manner, our internal control system, within the framework of our duty and authority, regulating the administrative and financial decisions and the growth related to them, maintaining the orderliness and security, and effectively stopping the control of the transaction in our spending unit. Our General Secretariat consists of a Secretary General, a Deputy Secretary General and their affiliated units. As the General Secretariat of Bayburt University, our goal will be to carry out our exciting and devoted work throughout this period with great enthusiasm from today and in the coming days.

Authority, Duties and Responsibilities of the Secretary General The General Secretariat consists of a Secretary General, two deputy Secretaries General and affiliated units. The Secretary General is the head of the University administrative organization and is responsible to the Rector for the work of the organization. The Secretary General performs the following duties in the operations of the units affiliated to him, in addition to the work to be carried out by the University administrative organization as a unit. To ensure that the units in the University Administrative organization work efficiently, regularly and harmoniously, to serve as rapporteur without participating in the vote in the University Senate and the University Executive Board; Ensuring that the decisions taken in these boards are written, protected and kept, transmitting the decisions of the University Senate and the University Board of Directors to the units affiliated with the university, making recommendations to the rector about the personnel to be assigned in the university administrative organization, ensuring that the Press and Public Relations service is maintained, carrying out the correspondence of the Rectorate, Rectorate protocol, visits and ceremonies. To organize these and to carry out similar tasks assigned by the Rector.
