Purpose of Establishment
- Our General Secretariat unit is an administrative organization established in accordance with Article 51 of the Law No. 2547 of the Council of Higher Education and carries out services within the framework of its duties and authority.
- For the administration of the administration in our unit, the efficient, economical and efficient distribution of the administration budget allocated to our unit, our duty and authority framework, internal control system, administrative and financial decisions and the related regulation and regularity, operation of backup equipment and effective operation of process control in our spending unit are carried out.
- Our General Secretariat consists of a Secretary General, two Deputy Secretaries General and their affiliated units.
- As the General Secretariat of Bayburt University, our goal is to have our unit spend our devoted work to this day with great excitement after today and in the coming days.
Work and Duties Performed:
The duties and responsibilities of our General Secretariat are as follows:
- The General Secretariat consists of a General Secretary, two Deputy General Secretaries and affiliated units.
- The General Secretary is the head of the University administrative organization and is responsible to the Rector for the operation of this organization.
- The Secretary General, in addition to his duties as the head of the University administrative organization, performs the following duties through the units affiliated to him:
- To ensure that the units within the University Administrative Organization work efficiently, regularly and harmoniously,
- To serve as rapporteur in the University Senate and the University Board of Directors without participating in voting; To ensure that the decisions taken in these boards are written, protected and stored,
- To convey the decisions of the University Senate and the University Board of Directors to the units affiliated with the university,
- To make recommendations to the rector about the personnel to be assigned to the university administrative organization,
- Carrying out the correspondence of the Rectorate,
- To organize the protocol, visit and ceremonial affairs of the Rectorate,
- To fulfill their duties in the Quality Management System,
- To fulfill their duties in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law,
- To perform similar duties assigned by the Rector
