The Establishment Purposes of Our Research Center:

a) To protect and expand the Bayburt bee race basin, which includes the center of Bayburt, its districts and villages,

b) To support research and develop projects that include the spread of the Bayburt bee race throughout Turkey, to conduct research on Turkey's honey capacity and quality,

c) To establish a museum in Bayburt where cultural and ethnographic products within the framework of bees and beekeeping are collected, documented, preserved, exhibited and used for educational purposes; to establish an archiving and documentation center on this subject,

ç) to conduct field research on beekeeping practices in Bayburt and its surroundings, to support the research conducted,

d) to ensure that the bee race is widely cultivated in a wide area in Bayburt and its districts and to popularize the pilot regions to be established within this framework,

e) to organize national and international conferences, panels, symposiums, and similar meetings in order to realize the center's objectives, to produce documentaries, CDs, books, magazines and similar publications,

f) to cooperate with media organizations on the subject,

g) to cooperate with domestic and foreign organizations in line with the center's objectives and to receive support from these organizations when necessary.
