Disabled individuals in higher education institutions; The 2022 Barrier-Free University Awards, organized by YÖK in order to raise awareness about access to education, culture, art and sports activities, found their owners. 

As a result of the evaluation of the work carried out to ensure the equality of disabled individuals within the complex, our University Bâbertî Complex was awarded the YÖK 2022 Barrier-Free University 'Orange Flag'. 

The faculties, institutes, vocational schools, research centers and cultural center located within the Bâbertî Complex of our university were deemed worthy of the YÖK 2022 Barrier-Free University 'Orange Flag' award for the opportunities they provide to disabled individuals. 

Our University, which added the Baberti Complex to the "Orange Flag" award it received for all administrative and academic buildings in the Dede Korkut Complex in 2019, has almost reached the end of becoming a truly Barrier-Free University. In this sense, our University continues to offer opportunities for everyone in the Bâbertî and Dede Korkut Complexes by providing disabled individuals with socio-cultural activities, educational services and ease of access to physical spaces within the complexes without needing anyone else.
