Our BAYÜ Corporate Academic Archive has been updated.
Dspace@bayburt, which stores all academic resources such as books, articles, theses, papers, reports, research data published directly or indirectly by our university in a digital environment at international standards, mediates the monitoring of our university's academic performance, stores resources for a long time and offers them for open access in accordance with copyrights, has been updated and put into service as of 07.10.2024. 

In the system where detailed work is done on Research Outputs and publications in other collections;

●     The sections and collections in the system have been completely restructured.

●     Publications that do not have a match in WoS, Scopus, TR-Index, PubMed and Thesis collections have been matched to the relevant index collections.

●     Publication IDs for WoS, Scopus, TR-Index and PubMed indexed publications have been added to the existing records.

●     WoS and Scopus Q values ​​of the publications have been added to the existing records.

●    Index information of publications (WoS, Socopus, TR-Dizin and PubMed) has been added to the existing records.

●    The spelling of publication types has been updated according to the new version.

●    The language codes of publications have been converted to the ISO 639-1 standard.

●    The spelling of department names has been completely revised and standardized.

●    The names of faculties, institutes, departments and units in the university have been added as a drop-down menu to the data entry form.

●    Journal names in the records have been moved to the “ispartof” field.

DOI information in the records has been moved to the “identifier.doi” field.

5059 publications with institutional addresses in WoS, Scopus, TR-Dizin and PubMed and YÖK Thesis Center database have been compiled. Within this framework:
●    Publications available in DSpace have been eliminated from the compiled records.

●    After the necessary editing, enrichment and deduplication work, 3658 publications with WoS, Scopus, TR-Dizin, PubMed, and YÖK Thesis addresses have been added to the relevant collections.
●    The distribution of the number of publications in the Research Outputs collection is detailed in the table below. The “Current” column in the table shows the distribution of the collection in the Research Outputs section before the editing, the “After Update” column shows the distribution of the number of publications in the collection in question after the existing records in the system were revised, and the “After Record Transfer” column shows the distribution after all publications with institution addresses, including thesis, were transferred.

Then the number of unique publications in the system is 3703.

Q values ​​of all WoS indexed publications in DSpace have been added.

Scopus Q information has been added to the records in DSpace based on the records in the SCIMAGO database.

The OAI-PMH data file of the system has been recreated, and the new OAI-PMH address has been reported to the TÜBİTAK - ULAKBİM Harman system.

During the record entry to the system, the necessary arrangements have been made for data transfer from external sources (Scopus, Crossref, PubMed, etc.), and the API key for Scopus has been obtained and set to the system.

For advanced analysis / reporting, the necessary fields for “Index”, “WoS Q”, “Scopus Q”, “Language”, “Type”, “Section”, “Access Right” have been added to the database, and these have been arranged as filterable in the interface.

Handle Server has been installed and its settings have been made according to the new system.
