Bayburt University, which is among the 8 universities designated by the Higher Education Council within the scope of the Digital Transformation Project, began its mission with the protocol signed by the Bayburt University Rector Prof.Dr. Selçuk Coşkun at the introductory meeting in Ağrı.
Higher Education Digital Transformation Project introduction meeting was held in Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen university. Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Mr. Dr. Fuat Oktay, Chairman of the Council of Higher Education Dr. Yekta Saraç, 8 university rectors and 9 regional university rectors were among the participants. Bayburt University, which is among the 8 universities that signed the protocol, will implement important projects in this field.
Speaking after the signing ceremony, Rector. Prof. Dr. Selçuk Coşkun said that the mission that YÖK had imposed on our university is a special responsibility. Coşkun underlined that all infrastructure works of the Bâbertî Complex, which is about to be completed, are being taken into consideration in terms of digital compatibility. In this context, the first application was carried out in the Central Library. Coşkun stated that the processes in the Central Library, which are designed in accordance with the understanding of the “Internet of things and services”, are defined on a digital basis and added that they set an example at this point. Finally,rector Prof.Dr. Coşkun expressed his gratitude to the Board of Higher Education Council, who gave this special responsibility, on behalf of our University.
