Evaluating the visit on behalf of the project team, Erasmus Coordinator Kömür said that seeing Turkey's image in the eyes of African peoples makes them happy and proud. Kömür said, "Foreigners have always come to these lands to colonize them. Everyone who learns that we are Turkish looks at us as a hope for the future. Our country, which strives so that Africa is not a oppressive geography whose future is being mortgaged, assigns us a task to support the free future of the region. We, as the voluntary envoys of our University and our state, touched the future of Nigeria. We told the children about our university and our country, we gave lessons. Maybe our little friends with whom we hold hands here will study at our university in the future. The achievements we have made here are a mosaic of cultures that will be inherited by future generations. Contributing to the creation of such an opportunity, our Rector Prof. Dr. Mutlu Türkmen, we would like to thank the National Agency, the Turkish Embassy in Abuja, Yunus Emre Institute and our Nigerian friends for hosting us very well."
